      Description

      That day I was really lucky to experience something rare.
      From a simple walk by the sea and an unplanned photo shoot, the Sun's halo appeared. But not an ordinary halo.
      We know that the halo is an optical phenomenon in the Earth's atmosphere (atmosphere optics) when the Sun or the Moon is visible through a thin layer of clouds with ice crystals. The most famous is the circle around the Sun or the Moon (complete or part of it) with a diameter of 22° (22° halo or small halo), which is reddish inside and bluish outside, and much rarer is a halo with a diameter of 46° (46° halo or big halo) which is here in the photo.
      So the 46° halo (outer ring) together with the 22° halo, the false Suns and the upper tangent arc, and in addition the Parhelian circle.
      The parhelian circle can only rarely be observed with a halo in the form of a ring with an angular radius of 22° (22° halo), if the cloud cover of the cirrostratus is homogeneous, which surrounds the sky parallel to the horizon, and passes through the Sun and the parhelians (false Sun ). Circumzenithal arc is also visible.
      Another surprising thing is that it was presented in the sky for over 1h.
      If they do appear, they are more reserved for higher altitudes, mostly in winter in the mountains where there is a snow. That is why this was a truly exceptional case that I witnessed.
      All in all, an extremely large and significant "catch" for me.
      It was difficult to make a photo from one shot, so this is a panorama of 20 photos - 10 for the sky and 10 for the foreground.
